This month has been incredible for Peter. For mommy, not so much. Every day the baby is being taken over by the little boy a bit more.

8 Months Old

• Wearing 12 and some 18 month outfits
• Weighing 21lbs, 28 3/4″ tall
• I’m thinking he’s not going to be in his infant car seat much longer
• Continues eating like a champ! Loves sweet potatoes, avocados, peas, carrots, squash, beef bones, and pretty much everything you put in front of him.
• Still sleeping through the night, taking 2 good naps a day
• His top 2 teeth are sitting right there….you can see their complete outline and a red line at the bottom where they’re working through
• Big advancement…he’s now army crawling, rolling, and pulling himself everywhere
• We did trim his bangs, because they were always in his face…I’m thinking the back will get trimmed this weekend

And all his hair is long enough to be pulled back into one ponytail.

 

How is this handsome boy already 7 months old?!

• Weighing 19.5 lbs
• Wearing 12 months clothing
• Taking a short nap in the morning {an hour or so}, then a good long nap after lunch
• Still sleeping through the night
• Decided to pop out 2 teeth overnight, without any warning
• Rolling all over
• Desperately trying to get his knees under himself
• Started some solids
• Gibber-Jabbering more
• Not content to sit still
• Loves his thumb
• His hair is longer and longer {I can’t bring myself to cut it though…didn’t have that problem with the other boys though}
• Trying to pull himself up to a sitting position…getting pretty close
